POSITION SUMMARY :
The Lab Inspector Trainee performs dimensional inspection of manufactured components using hand tools and a variety of automated inspection equipment. Primarily performs intermediate to advanced inspections but may include several basic activities. Prepares accurate inspection records for delivery to the customer. Maintains cleanliness of equipment and work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform dimensional inspection on customer product.
- Support Inspection staff with operation of Inspections
- Working with vision and touch CMM’s, Laser scanning equipment, and CT scanning equipment.
- Prepares and maintains documentation and records as required
- Supporting both Inspection and Engineering projects.
- Communicating with team leadership on schedule and availability.
- Shipping and receiving product
- Adhere to all company policies
