Job Purpose:
Handle technical and complex customer calls. Research problems and present proposed resolutions to customer, management, or sales representatives as appropriate. Main focus will be account status, technical product application, service information, and pricing. Process incoming orders and provide excellent customer service to ILCO employees and customers.
Duties:
· Function within the guidelines of ILCO’s philosophy and Mission Statement.
· Provide technical support to customers on incoming and outgoing customer service calls.
· Apply judgment in resolving complex customer issues and questions.
· Assist field Sales Reps in resolving customer issues and questions.
· Answer, process, and/or direct, incoming calls.
· Process customer orders received via phone, fax, mail, sales representative, EDI, or other method on a timely basis. Phone orders are to be entered live and confirmed with the customer for accuracy.
· Establish and build credibility with customers.
· Maintain customer information in database (contact names, addresses, account, etc.).
· Promote product specials, programs, and bundled products to incoming callers and customers on the sales rep call schedule.
· Investigate order status, problems, and process customer requests providing solutions to customer inquiries.
· Provide technical assistance to sales staff to assure they are properly trained to sell products.
· Review daily status report with assigned sales representative(s) for errors, questions, and delivery status.
· Update override and special pricing in company databases.
· Submit requests for billing corrections.
· Work with credit department and customers to resolve any credit issues and delivery issues related to credit problems.
· Move materials and load customer orders in company and customer trucks using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
· Receive and ship orders as well as process paper work associated shipping, receiving, and transferring materials.
· Inspection of materials for nonconformities
· Work safely in a warehouse environment following all company safety rules and regulations outlined in safety manual and adhere to MSHA and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:
Minimum
· High School Degree required
· Min. of 4 years customer service experience
· Excellent verbal communication skills for customer interactions
· Advanced Computer skills
· Ability to make and adhere to time schedules
· Good problem solving skills
· Strong sales aptitude
· General Overview: Office based
· Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and move drums of oil, grease, or other products weighing up to 400 lbs.
· Safety Hazards of the job: Minimal / Warehouse
