RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Reviews drawing requirements and identifies special needs and possible manufacturing concerns.
- Determines if a requested item fits within the Company’s manufacturing capabilities and product scope.
- Identifies missing manufacturing information, communicating with Product Managers, sales associates, and customers
- Verifies that customer provided drawings are drawn to scale, and are compatible to use with related software.
- Works closely with Product Managers, sales associates, and customers to increase sales.
- Follows up on quotes, maintaining and updating detailed log of all quotes sent to customers.
- Utilizes estimating tools to calculate material, manufacturing time and cost, and prepares final proposals for review
- Performs reviews of the estimating process and provide suggestions for improvements that may be beneficial to the
- Work collaboratively with other departments and divisions to provide support and/or request assistance as needed.
- Provides management with critical information as needed.
- Ensures that all information necessary for accurate and efficient production has been obtained and developed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Practically applying proficient math skills, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

- Preparing and maintaining records and reports, both manually and electronically.
- Proficiency in operating modern desktop computers, related software, and related modern office equipment.

- Properly operates basic measuring tools, including calipers, a micrometer, and tape measures, converting metric and
- Working knowledge of computer aided design (CAD), nesting software, and machine programming is beneficial.
