Description
Perform laboratory tests to determine the physical and chemical properties of adjuvants, inert ingredient blends and pesticide formulations for product development and troubleshooting. Prepare samples for customers and the AU field testing program. Collaborate with and assist the Sales Team members on new projects.

Perform laboratory tests to determine the physical and chemical properties of adjuvants, inert ingredient blends and pesticide formulations for product development and troubleshooting. Prepare samples for customers and the AU field testing program. Collaborate with and assist the Sales Team members on new projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing all physical property tests and procedures in a precise and accurate manner
- Use good laboratory practices to accurately record and file all test data
- Assist in drafting manufacturing procedures, technical data sheets and other documentation
- Develop new formulations and off-sets to existing products
- Qualify alternate sources of raw materials
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of specific instruments and lab equipment
- Prepare lab standard test reagents and product samples
- Support with non-routine work which may include equipment maintenance and large sample scale-up
- Work independently at times and be a functional part of various teams to complete large projects
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Biology
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong time management skills
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level
