Primary Responsibilities

- Lead and manage production and transportation teams to exceed customer expectations.
- Optimize production scheduling, blending processes, and logistics to ensure on-time and cost-effective order fulfillment.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve plant utilization, workforce effectiveness, inventory, and efficiency metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams by assessing skills, competencies, and knowledge/performance gaps.
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and a continuous improvement mindset through proactive initiatives and training.
- Drive LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of KPIs and operational performance.
- Partner with supply chain teams to manage inventory, procurement, and logistics for optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure equipment uptime, preventative maintenance, and operational reliability.
- Work cross-functionally with safety, quality, reliability, HR, and IT teams to enhance processes, training, and overall business performance.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- 5 years minimum of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management, 10 years preferred.
- Experience in the lubrication manufacturing industry highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar field preferred, equivalent experience considered.
- Experience managing DOT regulated employees preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and ERP systems.
- Proven track record in inventory management, process optimization, and cost control strategies.
- Basic understanding of process safety principles associated with operations and manufacturing with ability to identify and mitigate higher risk tasks.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
- Excellent communication and change management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Power BI).
