We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving our recruitment efforts, ensuring we attract and hire top talent across the organization.
Please note: this is a 1099, full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including:
- Job posting creation and strategy.
- Candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Coordination of interview panels and feedback sessions.
- Extending job offers and facilitating negotiations.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will be hiring painters, foremen, superintendents and all corporate roles.
- Leverage JazzHR as the primary Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management, reporting, and communication.
- Be a super administrator in JazzHR, understanding how to set up everything on the backend.
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of methods, including LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proven experience with JazzHR or a similar ATS, with strong technical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and hiring in a 1099 context.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
- Onboarding Period: First 90 days in office to ensure seamless integration into the team and processes.
- Hybrid Work Model: After the onboarding period, transition to a hybrid schedule with 1 to 2 remote workdays per week.
