Industrial Park Distributors is an outdoor power equipment dealership that has been family owner and operated for over 30 years. We are a growing company seeking to add an additional full-time Parts Associate whose main responsibilities will revolve around the parts department and counter but will also cross in to other aspects of the business.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities of a Parts Associate
- Provide quick and quality customer service
- Assist customer by properly identifying necessary parts by using online parts catalogues
- Facilitate part sales transactions over the parts counter
- Document and correct discrepancies between inventory records and shelf quantities.
- Make necessary entries to inventory control system assuring proper records are kept with current pricing
- Carry out other business functions not limited to the parts department
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualities Desired in a Parts Associate
- Intrinsically motivated
- Outgoing and personable
- Previous sales experience is desired.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous parts/small engines training is recommended but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work with others in a group setting
- Computer skills and typing ability
