We are looking for a Sr. New Product Development Engineer for a product development role with a leading portable fuel container manufacturer. The incumbent will report directly to the New Product Development and Product Manager. The Sr. New Product Development Engineer is responsible for the project coordination, planning, and research required to identify and introduce new products and business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Project manages all aspects of the project including tooling quotes, drawings, project schedule, testing, tooling approval, costed bill of materials, etc.
- Coordinate projects tasks with other team members for packaging development, marketing, samples for photography and customer demos.
- Utilizes stage gate project structure to track timelines, project plans, tasks, team responsibilities, and status reporting.
- Convey weekly progress via project schedule status updates.
- Oversee the review of new product concepts and the decision-making process required for new product introduction and rollout.
- Achieve project objectives per target dates
