CAPTURE 3D, a ZEISS company, is seeking an energetic Technical Sales Representative to join our successful, dynamic and expanding organization to represent our industry leading German designed and manufactured ZEISS manual and fully automated 3D Scanning and Inspection solutions. Hybrid work environment based on customer engagements, projects, in office activities etc..

This position is in our Santa Ana, CA facility and is targeted to further develop the Western region. CAPTURE 3D has offices in Santa Ana CA (HQ), Farmington Hills MI (Automated Solution Center), Issaquah WA, South Windsor CT, and Cornelius NC.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform virtual, inhouse and onsite solution demonstrations
- Interact with Online Chat inquiries
- Generate opportunities and engagements for the territory sales engineers
- Participate in tradeshows both in person and virtually
- Utilize sales enablement tools to identify and engage potential customers
- Implement an organized and structured methodology for weekly work schedule to call on and address prospects, identified potential opportunities and installed base customers
- Articulate technology capabilities and process benefits of our solutions, organization, and products via presentations, demonstrations, cost benefit analysis (ROI), proof of concept engagements, and service projects
- Meet monthly sales and corporate metrics
- Communicate and update management on a regular basis
- Update and maintain CRM software and produce daily/weekly/monthly status reports
- Prefer 3 years of technical related sales experience
- Prefer capital equipment sales experience
- Ability to articulate technical information in a simplistic and concise manner
- Technical competence with excellent presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of PC uses and applications
- Willingness to travel 30%-40%
- Knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing or Inspection/Quality processes is a plus
The annual pay range for this position is $61,336 - $76,670
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
