Description
Industrial Refrigeration Pros is looking for a Refrigeration Engineer whose job includes planning, designing, and project management of refrigeration systems for industrial manufacturers. They will also develop designs for, oversee fabrication of, and troubleshoot problems with complex refrigeration systems for industrial use.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and preparation of plans and specifications for the installation of industrial refrigeration equipment and systems
- Assessments of existing equipment and installations, with recommendation to maintain, modify or replace
- Design the full field-erected refrigeration system, including pipe sizing and layout, equipment selections, and configuration of parallel compressor systems to serve the refrigerated fixture plan
- Using AutoCad and Excel, prepare refrigeration systems plans, piping plans and equipment schedules
- Perform field inspections and assessments of existing refrigeration equipment and installations for the purpose of making recommendations to maintain as-is, modify or replace the equipment
- Assist with inspections of installations in progress for conformance to refrigeration plans and specifications
- Visiting and surveying the premises
- Producing an estimate for the cost of constructing and installing the refrigeration system
Qualifications
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Practical and technical skills
- Ability to calculate figures and costs
- Ability to read plans and technical drawings
- An understanding of health and safety procedures
- Able to work as part of a team
Salary : $155,000 - $165,000
