Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and proven expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities: Supervise Maintenance Team: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of maintenance tasks. PLC Expertise: Utilize PLC systems for troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues on various manufacturing equipment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and preventive maintenance logs. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components. Training and Development: Provide training and support to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Job Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. PLC Knowledge: Extensive experience with PLC systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members. Shift: Day shift position, with flexibility to address urgent maintenance issues as needed.
