Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and proven expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise Maintenance Team: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of maintenance tasks. PLC Expertise: Utilize PLC systems for troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues on various manufacturing equipment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and preventive maintenance logs. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components. Training and Development: Provide training and support to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Job Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. PLC Knowledge: Extensive experience with PLC systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members. Shift: Day shift position, with flexibility to address urgent maintenance issues as needed. Education: Relevant technical degree or certification preferred, but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
