Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Quality Assurance to lead a Quality Assurance department within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This is a senior leadership role, critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, overseeing a team of 40 employees.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems that ensure regulatory compliance and product excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with all applicable food safety standards, including FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulations.
- Continuously improve quality processes and implement best practices in QA methodologies.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformities.
- Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing to align quality objectives with business goals.
- Manage the department's budget and resources efficiently to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure ongoing training and development for the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting Line :
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing.
