Job Summary
The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and break rooms. This role ensures a safe and hygienic work environment by following established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and production areas.
- Remove trash, recycling, and other waste materials from designated areas and dispose of them properly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.).
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and breakroom tables.
- Dust and clean office furniture, fixtures, windows, and equipment as needed.
- Clean and maintain breakroom areas, including microwaves, refrigerators, and countertops.
- Maintain and organize janitorial supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting facility issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, Knowledge:
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures (e.g., Safety Data Sheets).
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and disinfection protocols, particularly in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to janitorial work.

- Time management skills to efficiently complete cleaning tasks within assigned shifts.

Abilities:
