Experienced Inside Sales Representative

Job Description: Full-Time Inside Sales Representative
As an inside sales representative, you will provide customers with expert assistance via the phone, email and in person by selling a diverse line of products and services to satisfy their needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining showroom displays, backorder reports, price updates, inventory counts, warranties and returns and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update and process customer quotes and orders using an industry specific computer system.
- Address and follow-up on customer inquiries, concerns and requests in a timely, professional manner to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Must have the ability to make key decisions to influence sales while growing revenue and profits.
- Understand customer needs, probe to recognize opportunities, solve problems and recommend solutions.
- Support sales partners to help maintain and retain existing customers, while acquiring new customers.
- Will need to accurately pick orders. Ensuring orders are ready when the customer arrives and coordinate with shipping to process delivery and shipping orders.
- Assist customers with loading product(s) into their vehicle.
- Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish goals and to resolve any problems that might occur.
- Participate and complete all required product and business training directed by management.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties to keep and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Position Requirements:
- Two or more years of prior customer service or sales experience
- High School Diploma or GED; business or marketing degree is preferred, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Exhibit a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must be self-confident, possess a high energy level and resilient character
- Must be computer literate and able to learn required software programs
- Strong computer skills, particularly Excel, Word, Windows based programs & the Internet
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to learn and retain processes, procedures and product information quickly while meeting customers’ expectations or business deadlines
- Professional in appearance, attitude and action
- Able to operate a forklift as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
