Bicycle Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bicycle maintenance and repair, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bicycles , including brake repair and suspension work.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.
• Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs or replacements.
• Provide excellent shop skills and organization
• Assist in lifting tasks related to vehicle parts and equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and enhance overall service quality.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the industry.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including brake repair and suspension systems.
• Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with cycling through various tasks in a busy workshop environment is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous learning in automotive technology.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
