Success Criteria & Measurement
- Weld and Fabricate projects with assistance
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner
- Prioritize safety throughout the day
- Collaborate with the team and assist in various areas as needed
- Assist in Welding Operations: Support senior welders in performing various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and Stik welding.
- Prepare Materials: Inspect, clean, and prepare materials for welding. Ensure components fit accurately and make necessary modifications.
- Operate Equipment: Use welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including hand tools, power drills, bandsaws, etc.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality. Use measurement tools to ensure dimensions meet specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain records of welding activities and complete necessary documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist other departments as needed.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a welding program or related field.
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Previous experience in welding or metal fabrication is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a willingness to learn.
