Industrial Sales Representative, Missouri Territory- Outside Sales


Overview:

 

Industrial Solutions Unlimited Illinois is a full-service distributor and fabricator specializing in conveyor belting, machined parts and field service work for the Manufacturing Industry. ISU is a medium sized, niche company in growth mode with locations in IL, WI and MO. We are looking for an Industrial Sales person with 3-5 years of experience calling on Manufacturing plants in the St Louis area to join our passionate team and grow with us. The right candidate will have experience in an Industrial Sales role and ideally has existing relationships with some key decision makers in the Manufacturing Industry within the St Louis target market.


Job Description:


As an Outside Sales -Industrial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling products from the entire ISU product portfolio that includes: conveyor belting, conveyor components, machined parts and service work. For this job, you will be based in the ISU Missouri branch (St. Louis area).

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:


·       Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. This includes cold calling, emailing and travelling to prospective customer sites to attain new business.

·       Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at both new and existing accounts.

·       Learning and Utilizing the ISU Customer Relationship Management (CRM system) to organize, strategize and plan out all sales related details of the territory.

·       Preparing a weekly/monthly sales schedule that includes regular customer visits, measuring belts/parts in customer’s plants and strategizing on new products to vertically grow the territory.

·       Working in conjunction with the ISU Inside Sales, Installation/Service and Shop Teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

·       Providing day to day, sometimes 24/7 support to the territory by responding to customer needs, helping the Office Team with pricing for quotes, responding to order and delivery inquiries and following up on pending project quotes. 


 Must Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Detail Oriented with superior organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency and a customer first mentality
  • College degree preferred BUT Not needed
  • Mechanical skills preferred
  • Self-motivated with outside Industrial Sales training and experience
  • Positive Attitude
  • Experience in all facets of the sales cycle from cold calling, prospecting through account management
  • Ability to Work Independently While Following Written Standard Operating Procedures
  • Valid Driver License and Insurance
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus


Pay:

·       Base Uncapped Commission Structure with a total Compensation plan in the range of 50K-100K depending upon experience level.

·        Car allowance, Lap top and phone plan
