Position Overview: We are looking for a Corporate Development Associate to play a vital role in our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will assist in the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong background in corporate development and a passion for the industrials industry.Responsibilities:Source current deals from our pipeline of Industrial Companies on the West Coast.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities in the industrials sector.
Evaluate and assess potential deals, conducting due diligence and financial analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business cases, assess synergies, and develop integration plans.
Prepare detailed financial models and presentations for senior leadership.
Support the negotiation and execution of transactions, including deal structuring and contract review.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform corporate development strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with external advisors, potential partners, and industry contacts.
Assist in the development and execution of the company's overall corporate strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, or investment banking.
Strong drive to turn prospects into warm leads
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
