JOB DESCRITPTION
Summary / Objective
Install, maintain, and support computer systems, networks, and IT devices. Provide user training and support to ensure safe appropriate usage of IT infrastructure.
Essential Functions :
- Setting up workstations with computers, phones, and any necessary peripheral devices.
- Managing user account access.
- Maintaining computer hardware, printers, phones, WMS devices, etc. to ensure proper functionality.
- Installing and configuring software and functions according to specifications.
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Managing help desk support systems.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Maintain records / logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.

Work Environment :
This job operates in office and data centers settings. This role routinely uses highly technical equipment such as servers, workstations, phones, high / low voltage battery and electrical systems.
Physical Demands :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to rely on visual and auditory senses. The employee frequently is required to physically interact with hardware and components to touch and test equipment for troubleshooting and installing.
Traveling will be required to support branch office locations.
