We are seeking an Project Control Specialist (Capital Projects) to join our client's greenfield soda ash processing facility project team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with an organization that is currently ramping up to break ground in 2025.
We are searching for a candidate who will be a team player with outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills and will have deep experience developing, maintaining, and tracking a project’s master schedule, ensuring alignment with procurement activities, construction progress, and engineering design. The Master Scheduler will work closely with the Project Team, including, but not limited to, the procurement team, engineering team, and other stakeholders to ensure all project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project schedule that integrates all phases of the project, including well field, processing facility, rail, and cogeneration plant construction.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that materials and resources are available when needed, adjusting the schedule to reflect any delivery delays or changes.
- Monitor and analyze the project’s critical path to identify any risks or schedule slippages and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Work closely with site supervisors, construction managers, and the engineering (EOR) team to update the schedule with real-time progress and ensure all teams are aligned.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) : Track project performance using EVM techniques and provide regular updates on schedule progress against planned performance.
- Provide regular schedule updates, reports, and forecasts to the Project Manager, highlighting any risks, potential delays, and mitigation strategies.
- Continuously update and adjust the schedule based on changes in project scope, design updates, or unexpected events that affect the timeline.
- Create, monitor, and update the project schedule.
- Work with subcontractor schedulers to ensure their timelines integrate smoothly into the master project schedule.
