Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operator/Set-Up Machinist to join our team in Loveland, CO. This role involves operating and setting up CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet or exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC and manual machines, including lathes and mills.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and achieve production goals.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and communicate larger problems to maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience in CNC operation and set-up (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with machining equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
