We are looking for an Electrical Foreman to Direct and supervise the planning, lay-out, installation testing and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the craft workers under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly, and efficiently. Work with or supervise other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pre-plan work having materials, equipment, manpower, etc. staged daily. Complete TMIL and communicate daily and weekly look aheads with crews. Share TMILs with Project Manager on a regular basis.
2. Oversee safety procedures, quality of workmanship and production costs.
3. Communicate effectively with crews, project manager and client representatives.
4. Lead the morale and attitude of the crew.
5. Oversee projects to assure compliance with the scope and quality as established by the contract documents.
6. Supervise the installation of industrial electrical equipment, power, lighting, controls, grounding substations, switchgear and motor control centers. Hands of experience with power generating systems, heat tracing, fiber optics baling, and system design. Experience with industrial maintenance support and trouble shooting. Work could involve civil, mechanical, and coordination with our mechanical division to complete turn-key projects.
7. Manage the permit and inspection process and attend or conduct regular progress meetings.
8. Maintain daily reports and TMILs including payroll, equipment, schedule updates and email correspondence to communicate project progress.
9. Plan and implement project schedules that make sure upcoming events are on track and are being proactively addressed.
10. Hands-on position. Lead by example and from the front.
11. Mentor and develop team on skills as well as leadership.
12. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
13. Monitor expenditures and ensure projects remain within budget.
14. Enforce housekeeping and site cleanliness.
15. Develop business with existing and new clients.
16. Work may require you to supervising crews, supervising multiple work sites, completing paperwork (time sheets, budget reports, production reports, etc.), communicating with clients, bid walks, preparing estimates, and attending client meetings.

Qualifications

1. Journeyman electrician with 10 years of experience working in chemical plants, refineries, and/or pulp and paper industry, installing electrical systems and equipment.
2. Must have a thorough knowledge of P&E, P&ID, Orthographic, General Arrangement, Equipment, and Isometric Drawings.
3. Must have a working knowledge of electrical codes.
4. Understand the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
5. Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills
6. High standard of integrity and professionalism.
7. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software.
8. Drug free at all times.
9. Pass 7 year clear background.
