Description
The Commercial Kitchen Service Technician Supervisor will oversee repairs and maintenance of all food service equipment. They will perform preventive maintenance and ensure completion of work orders as well as facilitate communications with management and employees.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and installation of food service equipment
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of commercial kitchen equipment including but not limited to refrigeration, ovens, steamers, mixers, warming cabinets, and steam tables
· Performs preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment and physical structures as required
· Lubricate, repair and/or replace worn parts, valves, meters, belts, bearings, gears, pumps, compressors and etcetera
· Execute calibrations, cleanings, and painting as needed
· Disconnect, remove, install, reconnect, and initiate startup of commercial kitchen equipment as needed
· May work with other crafts to complete repairs needed in regard to general renovations
· Works with construction materials as needed for general repairs
· Oversite of materials used, records of operations, and repairs are documented daily; including work orders, parts logs, inventory and safety procedures
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned
· May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training to staff
· Work and tasks are often straightforward, routine, structured and guided by established policies and procedures
· Create methods for tracking and recording repairs, PM’s, service quotas, inventory and time management
· Specific job activities and results are typically reviewed closely
· Forwards difficult and nonroutine inquiries or requests to appropriate level for resolution
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· 4 - 6 years of commercial kitchen maintenance experience and supervisory responsibilities
· Experience with all tools that correspond with the maintenance of commercial kitchen maintenance
· Forklift operator – certification preferred
· Must be safety conscious and comfortable wearing proper PPE
· Bilingual a plus
Certifications and Licenses
· CFESA Certification is a plus
· EPA Type I
· EPA Refrigeration
Work Environment
Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, etc.
Ability to carry and/or lift 50 lbs. or more
