Installation Technician

Responsibilities:

• Installing, dismantling, and service of industrial structures inside industrial facilities and a variety of other settings
• Working in a warehouse pulling materials for jobs in field, conducting inventory checks, and performing maintenance
• Operating various types of equipment; i.e: hand-tools, extend reach forklifts, etc.
• Following appropriate work procedures and upholding company safety standards
• Working overtime hours when business needs dictate
• Various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED
• Must be able to pass TWIC, OSHA, and DISA certification requirements
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Travel 100 days per year or more on field assignments (domestic travel)
• Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required
• Must be able to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram or schedule format
• Attention to detail is required
• Rental or carpentry industry experience is a plus
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
• Flexibility is required in schedule to work during emergency response efforts on disaster relief projects

Working Conditions:

• All work is performed in settings that are not climate controlled; some work outdoors and some in warehouses with exposure to the elements. Meaning, when it’s hot it’s hot, when it’s cold it’s cold
• Business casual atmosphere (jeans, t-shirts, work boots); proper PPE when on client sites

Salary : $18 - $20
