Responsibilities:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will promote ITS services and products and identify prospective customers, manage the customer relationship, and grow ITS business in the Gulf Coast region with a special focus on Oil & Gas in Texas. It is your responsibility to handle all customer prospects and relations in the long sales cycle and to generate a robust pipeline for future business.
This position involves the management of existing customer portfolios and pipeline as well as the active acquisition of new customers for ITS. You will conduct calls and travel for face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
You must know how to work and manage a long sales cycle.
Compensation package includes base pay ($55,000 - $65,000) plus robust commission plan. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
- Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of ground protection, construction or specialty industrial equipment preferred
- Leveraging your cold-calling and closing skills to expand an existing portfolio
Requirements
· High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s preferred
· 3 years of related outside sales experience
· Must have a “hunter” mentality and be a self-starter
· Experience with CRM HubSpot is a plus
· Must be accustomed to a long sales cycle
· Document and maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts (in HubSpot) to show consistent growth
· Strong presentation skills are essential
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize efficiently required
· Must pay attention to detail and work with a high level of accuracy
· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite required
· Must be skilled in follow up, goal setting, planning, multi-tasking, and teamwork
· Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills required
· Strong public speaking and presentation skills
