What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver / Shop Assistant position at Industrial Threaded Products?
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time position involves both delivery and machine shop support duties. The ideal candidate will have a Class C driver's license and the ability to adapt to changes in delivery schedules and routes. Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and follow verbal instructions are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery Driver Duties:
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods to various locations as assigned.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to clients or suppliers.
- Load and unload materials and products in a safe manner.
- Maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Handle any delivery-related paperwork, including receipts and logs.
- Follow company policies and all traffic laws during deliveries.
- Machine Shop Support:
- Assist with machine shop tasks as needed when not on deliveries, including but not limited to:
- Operating machines, tools, or equipment.
- Helping with material organization
- Performing basic shop duties as directed by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications:
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Class C driver’s license (required).
- Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal instructions.
- Must be flexible and willing to adapt to changes in routes and schedules.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Previous experience in delivery (required)
Previous experience in machine shop environment (desired)
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Occasional lifting and physical work are required.
Salary : $20
