Receiving Assistant / PT Driver

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Assistant / Part-Time Driver to join our team. This full-time position involves supporting warehouse receiving operations and handling local pickups and deliveries as needed using a Class C license vehicle. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of receiving experience, a clean driving record, and is familiar with fasteners or similar inventory items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
• Unload deliveries using proper safety procedures and equipment
• Organize and label inventory items following company standards
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation
• Communicate shortages, issues, and missing items with respective departments
• Assist with warehouse organization
• Deliver materials and products to local clients (Class C vehicle) *Anticipated to drive 2 days per week.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and safe transportation of goods
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area and company vehicle

Requirements:

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License
• Clean driving record (required)
• Minimum of 3 years’ receiving experience
• Forklift experience (cherry picker and sit down) 
• Knowledge of fasteners and related materials (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
