Sales Admin Assistant
We are looking for someone with excellent telephone and administration skills to join our sales teams. Tasks will range from order entry, incoming phone support, administration (including digital filing), and cross-training in different divisions.
This role is full-time, onsite in Brea, and will report to the Director of Sales Operations.
Hours for this role are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
There will be daily use of a computer including use of all Microsoft Office packages including email and extensive use of our own ERP system (Epicor Prophet21) and our cloud-based VOIP phone system. Candidates must have prior office experience and be fully proficient with the use of email and the use of a keyboard for data entry.
For this position, you should be able to use your organizational skills to manage your desk space and your time, as you will deal with calls and electronic communication to internal departments, shipping vendors, and our customers in a fast-paced environment as well as managing your other daily administrative tasks. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. There will be a requirement to learn a lot of details regarding our processes and the products and for this we will provide training to the right candidate. This role is an essential 1st step into the ITP Sales department.
Job Requirements
- Working directly with Account Managers to support daily order entry and communication
- Making/taking calls from vendors, customers, 3rd party freight operators, all internal ITP departments,
- The majority of the role will be administration and order entry
- Daily Internal e-mail communications
- Regular external e-mail communications
- Collaborating with other departments such as finance on credit issues and reviewing backlog orders with the warehouse team
- Updating spreadsheets and managing digital filing solutions.
- One-off and ongoing projects as assigned
- Other administration as required by the department's needs or by instruction of the Sales team and/or management

- Must be proficient in Microsoft software applications with specific emphasis on Excel and Word. Proficient in Outlook.
