Industrial Warehouse Enterprises Inc. is a family owned and operated custom warehousing and distribution facility. As a customer service representative, you will ensure that we deliver on our promise of outstanding service. You'll work with customers, business partners, and drivers to make sure we are meeting our commitments and delighting our customers at every step of the experience.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of the customer service policies, objectives and initiatives. The key focus area is order management, encompassing accurate processing, proactive order tracking, and transparent communication on status updates or potential delays. Timely updates foster trust and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and follow up with inquiries and requests
- Place customer orders through point-of-sale system
- Respond to customer voicemails and emails daily
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients
- Troubleshoot, identify and resolve customer pain points effectively
- Great customer service handling inbound drivers bill of ladings
- Perform audits of data collection to ensure integrity
- Process changes or cancelations to delivery orders
- Notate all customer interactions through multiple online interfaces
- Provide accurate and realistic expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Follow communication procedures and guidelines
- Telephone sales or customer service via telephone
- Practice safe work habits in accordance with company protocols and all regulatory guidelines
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of managerial and customer service experience
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and customer service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Ability to manage large workload through time management and organization
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including lift 50lbs or more without assistance
Compensation and Benefits:
- 18/hour, based on experience
