Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Pump Technician role located in West Deptford, NJ. The Pump Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial pumps used in various applications. Daily tasks will include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, rebuilding/repairing and ensuring all pumps are functioning efficiently. Experience with liquid ring vacuum, gear, and centrifugal pumps is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial pumps
- Knowledge of pump maintenance procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot pump issues
- Mechanical aptitude and technical skills
- Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certification or training in pump maintenance
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work space
- Ability to be on call
- Ability to work weekends
