WHAT'S THE ROLE?
Application Engineers are the critical interface between system engineering and customer satisfaction. Overseeing the physical implementation of iEnet’s state-of-the-art solutions and by building relationships with our industry leading customers.
The candidate will have solid experience in hands-on engineering. You will have implemented a variety of technological solutions for major customers and successfully supported projects from beginning to end.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN IENET APPLICATION ENGINEER:
- Work on many phases of project lifecycle, from design through project commissioning.
- Implement hardware and software solutions at customer sites in North America.
- Contribute to driving projects to completion through hands-on approach.
- Participate in R&D tasks, product testing, and system validation prior to installation.
- Build a strong knowledge base related to iEnet’s unique technical solutions.
- Applies experience, judgement, and discretion to solve unique problems.
- Cultivation of strong working relationships, both internal and external.
- On-site contractor and customer training, as needed.
- Quickly troubleshoot to resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE/CSE/BSME or equivalent.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a related position or industry.
- Experience with large project-based engineering work.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time, depending on project load.
- Technical proficiency in HW and SW commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Project Management skills are a plus.
- Working knowledge of networking, Cisco CCNA, or similar.
- 2D CAD/AutoCAD/Autodesk experience a plus.
- Experiencing working with contractors, integrators, and end users.
- Possess knowledge of basic network/electrical troubleshooting and product specific requirements for installation.
- Familiar with networking, security camera, and ground radar configuration.
