WHAT'S THE ROLE?

 

Reporting directly to the Controller, the Financial Analyst will play a critical role in financial reporting, ERP implementation, and project management while ensuring strict adherence to GAAP standards. This position requires advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI to generate insightful financial and operational reports that drive decision-making.  The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to uphold financial accuracy and streamline operations.

 

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN IENET FINANCIAL ANALYST:  

 

  • Assist with the ERP system transition from QuickBooks, overseeing data migration, process documentation, and staff training to ensure a seamless integration and optimization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational reports using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools to enhance visibility into key metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and internal deadlines.
  • Oversee fixed asset management, including monthly depreciation calculations, additions, disposals, and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with HR to process bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee records, deductions, and compliance with state and local tax regulations.
  • Support AR & AP processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor invoice processing, W-9 verification, check runs, and reporting.
  • Manage new vendor and customer account setups, verifying credentials and overseeing account creation.
  • Lead and coordinate the monthly closing process, including the preparation, posting, and review of journal entries.
  • Perform and oversee account reconciliations to ensure financial statement integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Provide cross-functional training and support within the department to enhance team versatility and business continuity.
  • Act as a liaison with auditors, banking partners, and other external stakeholders to facilitate audits and financial reviews.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in financial reporting, ERP utilization, and project management initiatives.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental goals and overall company objectives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, with strong expertise in GAAP compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPs, Power Query) and experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP system implementation and project management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.

  • Full-time, onsite four days a week, position Wilsonville, OR office.
