Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist ensures that the daily functions and procedures runs smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Duties

- Fulfills orders, packages items for shipment and arrange delivery pickups
- Responsible for the loading and unloading of materials and products, verifies the quantity of items received against invoices
- Keeps detailed shipping and receiving logs to account for all materials that enter and leave the warehouse
- Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, this position is responsible for the daily monitoring of inventory storage and product flow processes.
- Performs precise and detailed investigations of storage locations to ensure accuracy of contents.
- Performs daily cycle counts of storage locations
- Reports, investigates, and resolves discrepancies
- Research the causes of the identified discrepancies and recommends solutions.
- Performs daily inspections of bin locations on a rotating basis to confirm the accuracy of its contents.
- Utilizing morning reports directs “pull downs” from high rack storage in preparation for picking and restocks as needed
- Performing pre-count and tagging activities in preparation of physical inventories.
- Assists in the maintenance of neat and orderly storage locations and is responsible for good safety and housekeeping practices.

Required Skills and Abilities
- Requires broad knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations
- Ability to operate a computer utilizing a variety of computer software for research and data entry
- Advanced math and accounting skills
- Able to follow strict specifications
- Must pay close attention to details
- Ability to work at a pace to meet IOBs standards
- Must be honest, energetic, hard-working, and be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new ones
- Must be detail oriented, extremely organized
- Willing to write things down and learn new systems
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Participate in a safe work environment
- Demonstrate high quality work performance
- Ability to stand and use external dexterities for an entire shift
Education and Experience
- 2 years’ experience performing warehouse duties or utilizing a warehouse management system
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements
- Requires good manual dexterity and the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods throughout the workday
- Must be willing and able to perform several types of tasks
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
