Industry Health Solutions provides a broad scope of services including pre-employment exams, injury prevention, wellness programs, medical treatment, testing surveillance programs, and case management.
We are currently looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our Occupational Medicine Health Unit in Coldwater, Michigan. You will be joining a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers, certified medical assistants, and case managers to provide a comprehensive team approach of care to our client company's employees.
A candidate will be expected to hold a CRNP or PA-C license in good standing in the state of Michigan, have good orthopedic/musculoskeletal skills, preferably at least two years' experience, and an understanding of occupational medicine, excellent and dynamic people skills, good communication skills, professional confidence, and be an independent thinker.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions
- Safety surveillance procedures such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, eye exams, UDS testing, and DOT's
- Joint injections
- Suturing
- Medical screening
- Treatment planning
- Completing clinical notes
- Working closely with our Case Manager and worker's compensation case management team
- Provide additional Primary Care related services from time to time.
