What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Industry Standard?
Industry Standard is a new cocktail restaurant opening this fall on Roosevelt Row in Downtown Phoenix. We are searching for talented, hospitality driven, bartenders to join our opening team. Our ideal candidates have a passion for bartending and mixology, love serving guests, are excellent when working with teams, professional and friendly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cocktails according to spec recipes and guidelines
- Use creativity to create new cocktails with beverage director
- Have a solid knowledge of wine and beer offerings
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Working experience as a bartender preferred
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Social media/marketing skills highly valued
