Driver / Smash Operator
Seeking part time truck driver and equipment operator who will be accountable for safely and proficiently operating our trash compaction truck, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to compact contents of open-top dumpsters at businesses in various industries.
We are looking for someone who will make sure their truck is clean, safe to operate, and ready to go every day. Being comfortable maintaining a 26,000-pound Freightliner or International truck and/or hydraulic equipment is favorable!
We are seeking a candidate who is just as comfortable with trucks and operating hydraulic equipment as they are with the clients they encounter at the sites. We're looking for someone with the drive and energy, but also remain focused on ensuring our trucks are safely operated and meticulously maintained day in and day out.

Job Description
- Thoroughly inspect your truck before and after each trip, documenting check list results through the use of smartphones and state of the art apps.
- Properly tracking routes and activity logs via the use of your smartphone and apps.
- Safely driving a 25,000 pound Smash Truck to customer sites, backing it up against dumpsters.
- Skillfully operating a 3-ton rolling drum on a hydraulic boom.
- Properly tracking and documenting activity log via smartphones and state of the art apps.
- Teaming with the Sales/Account lead who will be coordinating sales demonstrations and area events to help field any technical questions about our mobile trash compaction service.
Qualifications
- Professionalism, cleanliness, and pride in your work and the value you provide your customers are important attributes for this position.
- Strong work ethic, easy to work with, accountable and someone who consistently acts with integrity.
- A self-starter who works well with others.
- Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License, with Clean Driving Record. No accidents in the past 5 years.
- Experience maintaining a (i.e., dump truck, garbage truck, and/or roll-off truck).
- Background Check and Drug Screening required.
- Physically be able to safely climb up and down a 4-foot ladder 20 times a day.
