Coordinator, Match Presentation

Indy Sports & Entertainment, the umbrella company to Indy Eleven, a professional soccer franchise playing in the United Soccer League’s (USL) top tier, along with a new W League women’s team and academy teams is looking to add to its talented roster to help continue building Indy Eleven into the preeminent franchise within the USL.

The full-time position of Coordinator, Match Presentation is responsible for developing, coordinating and executing all in-game match presentation and theme night related items for Indy Sports & Entertainment. This position is also expected to support the entire Game Operations team with all in-venue set-up, tear down, repairs, organization, etc. The position’s goal is to further advance the match presentation throughout the season while following all league and venue protocols.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Act as the liaison between Indy Eleven and theme night related vendors to ensure plans are set in place for each match day and expectations are met. This could include vendors for in-game entertainment, tabling, Fun Zone, etc.
• Coordinate contracts and purchasing for all in-game presentation, activation and theme night related items and vendors.
• Lead Match Presentation and Fun Zone teams on match day.
• Ensure all in-game activations are coordinated directly with the Run of Show and all matches operate on-time.
• Be proficient in the USL Championship League Operations and Competition Manuals to ensure all items around match presentation meet the minimum standards of the league. No fines should be assessed due to these items.
• Work with all Indy Eleven departments to ensure all in-game details are communicated and processes are developed and followed for the execution of fan experiences and partnership activations.
• Work directly with Game Operations team to assist with the execution of all stadium set-up, maintenance, and break-down throughout the season. This includes workdays of manual labor and requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50-lbs and work outside in all climates.
• Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of all game operation activities including, but not limited to:
• Event setup and tear down for each match day and event.
• Coordinating with other departments and stadium vendors to assure venue readiness for all events.
• Managing match-specific special events and promotions, including pregame, halftime, and postgame activities.
• Developing scripts and timelines with all departments for all home games.
• Manage and become proficient with all Daktronics-related software and equipment. This includes complete training on how to operate and repair the in-venue Videoboard and LED Field Boards.
• Work closely with Graphic Designer(s) and Daktronics match day operator(s) to determine capabilities for match presentation and themes and promotions related graphics, animations, and interactive displays (training provided).
• Work directly with Partnership department to ensure all partner implementation requirements are met and timing works in collaboration with in-game activation.
• Collaborate with the marketing department on social media calendar and planning as it relates to match presentation and themes and promotions throughout the season.
• Manage the match presentation for all Indy Eleven match days including fan engagement, video board engagement, in venue music, PA script, player engagement, and fan experiences. This includes all USL Championship, USL W League, and U.S. Soccer home matches in addition to special events as assigned.

• Provide excellent customer service while addressing fan complaints/issues.
• Coordinate with vendors in a professional and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least two (2) years related experience, preferably in a sports venue
• Valid driver’s license required
• Daktronics or other videoboard/LED system experience preferred
