Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install and replace insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
- Clear and dispose of old insulation following established safety guidelines.
- Load and unload insulation materials.
- Install or spray insulation in attics.
- Measure and cut insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
- Fasten insulation in place using tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as required.
- Transport necessary tools and equipment to the job site.
- Adhere to company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Some knowledge of insulation materials and the ability to determine the best material for a project.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools to install insulation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related experience in insulation work preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing, bending, or climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
