Indy Paws Veterinary Hospital has been a beloved fixture in the Little Flower community for many years, providing wellness and illness care to the area's furry residents. Since 2017, we have expanded our offerings and medical care, equipping ourselves with modern facilities and equipment. Our hours of operation are designed to accommodate busy pet owners, with Monday hours from 8:00AM – 6:00PM (with a break from 12:00PM – 1:15PM) and Tuesday to Friday hours from 8:00AM – 6:00PM. We take pride in being closed on weekends to allow our staff to recharge and spend time with their loved ones.
Job Duties
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. You may be exposed to unpleasant odors and noises, bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess a passion for delivering top-notch patient care and be committed to ongoing learning and development. A Registered Veterinary Technician with an active license is required, while 2 years of professional experience and a strong background in veterinary procedures and operations are highly valued. Consistent punctuality, reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts, and excellent client communication and medical record management skills are also essential.
