Responsibilities
In this critical role, you will be responsible for animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. In addition to these core duties, you may participate in ongoing education and training initiatives to enhance your skills and expand your expertise. Requirements
While prior experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician is beneficial, we are open to candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn. An active license is required, and certifications such as CVA/CVT/CVPM can be advantageous. Experience working with diverse populations and species is also desired.
