Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to oversee the BDDS Waiver Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program in Indiana. The Program Manager will be responsible for the strategic management, implementation, and evaluation of the program, ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive high-quality services that enhance their quality of life and promote community integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Implementation: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the BDDS Waiver program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of case managers, client coordinators, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing the BDDS Waiver program. Stay updated on changes in legislation and best practices in service delivery.
- Client Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals served by the program, ensuring that services are client-centered and culturally competent.
- Data Management and Reporting: Oversee data collection and analysis to measure program effectiveness and outcomes. Prepare reports for stakeholders, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and advocacy groups. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality services.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the program budget. Monitor expenditures and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
- Crisis Management: Address and resolve any issues or crises that arise within the program, including client concerns, staff conflicts, or service delivery challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field .
- Proven experience in program management, particularly in Home and Community-Based Services or disability services.
- Strong knowledge of the BDDS Waiver program and HCBS regulations in Indiana.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in using technology and software for program management and reporting.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel within the state of Indiana.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet program demands.
