Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team at our Oregon facility. The Millwright will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery, pumps, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
Work with precision tools such as laser alignment equipment, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Fabricate, weld, and modify components as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other maintenance personnel to optimize equipment performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
3 years of experience as a millwright or industrial maintenance technician.
Proficiency in mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in an industrial environment.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.
Preferred:
Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent trade school education.
Experience with high-temperature processing systems or plasma-based technologies.
Familiarity with PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting.
Welding certification.
