How the Role Fits In:
The Materials Management Coordinator is part of the Site Logistics Department, which reports to the INEOS O&P Supply Chain Organization. This role is responsible for managing inventory of raw materials (additives and catalysts) and coordinating ordering with Procurement. This role supports the polymer-manufacturing operations at the site.
The Main Purpose of the Role:
The Material Management Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the inventory of raw materials (additives and catalysts) in support of polymer production requirements. The position is responsible for coordinating delivery and receipt of raw materials and confirming accurate documentation of receipt and inventory in the appropriate systems (SAP, MMS). This role also performs an end-of-month inventory audit to reconcile physical inventory between MMS and SAP.

Responsibilities AND Accountabilities
- Coordinate with Procurement to utilize SAP Material Requirements Planner module to assess raw material requirements.
- Accurately maintain goods receipt, inventory, and consumption of raw materials in MMS and SAP.
- Managing offsite storage of additives and catalyst.
- Perform monthly physical inventory of additives and catalysts to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of variances ie quantity and invoices.
- Monitor production and delivery schedule changes to ensure adequate amount of additives/catalyst are available.
- Identify potential problems and expedite materials as required.
- Coordinate physical inventory placement of raw materials with the Material Handling Technician.
- Knowledge of requirements to ship hazardous goods.
- Support return shipment of empty HAZMAT containers to suppliers.
- Maintain housekeeping in areas of responsibility.
- Support and back-up activities of the Materials Handling Technician.
- Perform duties as assigned to support Warehouse operations.
- Support commercial in sample shipments to Ineos & suppliers.
- Manage inventory to ensure a FIFO process is followed.
- Grade 29: Perform all site shipping activities as back-up to Site Logistics Analyst
- Grade 29: Calculate raw material requirements and coordinate with Manufacturing and Procurement to avoid stock-outs
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Prior experience in a Petrochemical Manufacturing or Gas Processing Facility is a plus.
- Four years’ experience in warehousing or materials handling is preferred.
- Two years’ general experience in SAP or an electronic inventory management system.
- Grade 29: Six years’ experience with SAP modules related to materials management and procurement
- Basic knowledge of personal computer usage including MS Office programs and data entry.
- Training in HAZMAT shipping preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Occasional overtime will be required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Must be flexible and willing to oversee a wide variety of responsibilities and take the initiative to manage tasks independently.
- Knowledge of INEOS organization and procedures a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with individuals inside and outside the company
- Ability to judge and prioritize workload.
- Capable of operating a forklift and lifting loads up to 25 kg.
