We are looking for a skilled Chemical Engineering Technical Consultant to join our team at INEOS Pigments USA. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to the manufacturing operations to enable the department to meet planned objectives related to safety, environmental, quality, production and cost.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with operators and other functional groups to optimize plant operations and drive continuous improvement
- Utilize other resources to troubleshoot production issues and work toward resolution in a collaborative and effective manner
- Investigate reasons for downtime/failures and assist in the identification of root causes and development/implementation of technical solutions
This is a salaried exempt, day shift position with on-call availability to assist operations in troubleshooting, calculating releases, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; preferably in Chemical Engineering
- 1 years of related chemical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of chemical/industrial equipment function, design, and regulatory requirements and Process Safety Management and ISO systems and procedures
