Inesscents® is a woman owned organic skin care company based in Southern Oregon. We focus on high quality organic ingredients and have a passion for making plant medicine for the skin. We pride ourselves on doing everything in-house; from manufacturing our products to order fulfillment.
We have an immediate opening for an Operations / General Manager to lead our amazing team. We are looking for a multifaceted diamond, someone with a creative spark, but knows how to get down to business. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box as well as know how to and can follow existing policies and procedures. This person can quickly pick up on and learn what they have not done before with ease and grace and can help others do the same. We are aware we are asking for someone special.
With their bright and sunny disposition, they will be in many ways, the right hand to the owner, leading our day-to-day operations and implementing our brand mission, values, strategy, and foundation.
We are looking for someone that can not only help run our business from a logistical operations perspective but can also contribute to the brand’s growth. This position is ideal for a candidate who wants to work for a small company that has a passion for our environment, industry transparency, and integrity as its center.
The Operations / General Manager is a crucial position that will support the long-term plans for the company. First and foremost, we are looking for a competent leader with a spark of magic, who can guide our team with heart and bring inspiration, value, clarity, and ease to the workplace.
We are not specifically looking for someone that has run a skin care brand before, but is a resourceful, independent worker who can understand and execute the needs of the business while finding joy in what they do each day. This role involves having a hand in many aspects of the business and requires being highly organized and a clear communicator.
Our ideal candidate should have successful leadership experience, preferably in the natural products industry.
Objectives:
· Develops and executes strategic plans within multiple departments.
· Reviews and improves organizational systems and operating procedures.
· Establishes and maintains a highly motivational work environment.
· Adheres to company standards of integrity, excellence, and quality.
· Strategizes and supports opportunities for growth by working closely with owner.
· Provides ideas, guidance, and feedback to staff to support maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
· Acts as the primary point of contact for owner, staff, and sales team.
· Oversees and supports day to day operations.
· Administrative organization and maintenance of company files.
· Oversee new product launches – R&D to store shelf
· Manages pricing, promotions, and internal company data.
· Provides strategic and clear outlines to staff for complex projects while meeting timelines.
· HR related responsibilities such as interviews, new hires and employee records.
Requirements & Skills:
· Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards.
· Independent, detail oriented and highly organized leader with excellent follow through.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Quickbooks experience preferred
