The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Office (PMO). IDSA is a community of over 13,000 physicians, scientists and public health experts who specialize in infectious diseases. Reporting to the PMO Director, the Project Manager will manage critical projects that advance IDSA’s mission of improving public health through infectious disease research, education, and advocacy. Qualifications
Characteristic Essential Responsibilities :
Project Management
- Defines project goals, deliverables, metrics, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Leads project planning, resource allocation, and risk management using tools like Smartsheet.
- Anticipates challenges and proactively manages risks, ensuring projects stay on track and achieve intended outcomes.
- Organizes and facilitates project kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develops high-quality project documentation, presentations, and reports that demonstrate the value of projects to the organization.
