The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) , located in coastal Charleston, SC, seeks an exceptional pediatric infectious diseases physician to join a small but dedicated group of physicians looking forward to growing and developing the division over the next few years. The Division of Infectious Diseases resides within a highly collaborative and academically diverse Department of Pediatrics and also enjoys a close working relationship with the Infectious Diseases Division in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Ideal Candidates :
- BC or BE pediatric infectious disease physician
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based medicine in teaching and practice
- Candidates with expertise / interest in hospital infection prevention and hospital epidemiology are encouraged
- Candidates seeking a combined position in pediatric and adult infectious disease will be considered
