JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inferno Systems is currently looking to hire individuals for our Technical Targeter positions. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of related experience. Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on technical skill level. BS degree must be in a technical discipline OR specifically defined sponsor experience may be substituted for a degree. Individual positions within this labor category have additional qualification and competency requirements.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for Technical Targeters to work on teams that bring analysis and cyber operations together to maximize the impact against key figures and organizations that pose a threat to US interests. This is a high-visibility, front-line position where you will be able to propose, develop, and drive operations forward. You will be working on a program that identifies individuals and companies with offensive cyber security experience, tools and capabilities to establish relationships with to help our customer drive their mission forward. You should have a good background in data analysis, writing reports and cables, and be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical managers. You must be a self-starter and be able to reach out to different mission partners to understand their challenges and help propose solutions to increase mission success.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3 or more years direct experience as a technical network targeter or in a closely related field.
- 5 or more years experience assimilating and evaluating large amounts of data drawn from multiple intelligence types and data sets, converting findings into future work activities.
- General understanding of networking technology and protocols, network/cyber security and information security practices.
- Experience in identifying specific data sets that can be combined to drive targeting efforts.
- Analyzing data flows between technical targeters, analysts and managers to improve data analysis, report writing and overall mission impact.
- Able to research and solve user problems by modifying existing systems.
- Able to influence others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- Experience developing and maintaining contacts across organizations to effectively support and coordinate the sharing of information.
- Must have strong analytical skills and report-writing and briefing skills.
- Must be a self-starter who excels at working in teams and individually
- Have a strategic mindset to approach problems that cross organizational boundaries.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Able to perform on complex and specialized systems and programming tasks.
- Able to create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with participating in system feasibility, proposals, design and integration.
- Demonstrated ability working with an array of tools and databases through past work experience.
- Proven ability to manage large projects with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
