Position: Psych RN

Location: Weston, WV 26452

Duration: 4 to 6 months
Shift: They do either a block schedule or 2-2-3 schedule - the block schedule is 4 -12s per week and the 2-2-3 is 36 hours one week and 48 the next and they must be open to either. They don't do 5- 8 schedule at all.

2-2-3 work schedule is a rotating shift pattern that involves working two days, then having two days off, and then working three days. This pattern repeats every two weeks
Guaranteed Hours a Week: 36

Available Start/End Date: 03/10/202d and 03/24/2025

Candidates must be able to work all three shifts. (Morning, evening, and midnights.) Candidates must be able to work up to 20 hours of overtime if needed. (Some mandated overtime may occur) Please let us know if the nurse has vacation planned when you submit them.. We cannot approve extended vacations.

Anyone 50 miles from the hospital will have a video interview. Anyone 49 miles or closer will have to do an in person interview.

All applicants must possess a WV Nursing license in good standing, WV Cares, CPR, physical, PPD Testing, drug screen, and provide proof of COVID vaccination ..

Requirements:

• Must be RN licensed by the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses and have no record of prior or pending disciplinary action against him or her by the licensure body or agency. West Virginia is a member of the National Council of State Board of Nursing and participates in the multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience and working knowledge of the concepts of mental health, health disorders and related physical conditions and related treatment approach.
• Must pass a recent West Virginia Clearance for Access: Registry and Employment Screening (WV CARES) check, to include any manual lookup procedures recommended by WV CARES.
• Must pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug test.
• Meets current Agency immunization requirements for purified protein derivative (PPD), yearly influenza record, and Hepatitis B Series.
• Also, must have Measle, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Varicella blood drawn titers.
• Possess a current American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Has received or obtain a successful annual physical.
