Job Title: Med/Surg RN
Job Location: Lamar, CO 81052
Shifts: Days (7AM-7PM). 36 hours/week.
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $75-76/hr. on W2 benefits

Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current Colorado license. Must have documentation of current CPR and Basic Life Support training. ACLS certification or will have certification within one year of employment. Active license for State of CO. Med-surg Peds. Med-surg Adult.
Roles & Responsibilities: Previous related experience. Graduate nurses with one year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred. This position assumes responsibility and accountability for providing direct patient care to a group of patients for a designated time frame on a medical-surgical unit. Astute assessment skills, IV skills, independent decision-making and the ability to function under high stress situations is required. Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing, systematic manner. Formulates a goal directed plan of care by establishing priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources. Performs efficiently in emergency patient situations, following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons and documenting events. Is also responsible for the supervision of any LPN's, Nurse Aides, and assignments to the Medical/Surgical Unit. The RN reports directly to the Acute Care Services Manager. Full Time position working 36 hours per week 12-hour shifts. May need to work overtime as need arises.
